Acceptable use policy
What can't be sold through Perly Pay, and where it can't be used.
Last edited 15 October 2026
Not allowed
- Anything illegal where you or your buyer are.
- Weapons, explosives and their parts; drugs and drug paraphernalia; counterfeit or stolen goods.
- Sexual content involving minors, or without consent — never, anywhere.
- Gambling, lotteries and betting without a licence.
- Securities, investment schemes, "guaranteed returns", pyramid or Ponzi schemes.
- Mixers, tumblers or anything meant to hide where money came from.
- Fake documents, hacked accounts, malware, spam services.
- Collecting payments for someone else (no payment facilitation without our written yes).
Sanctions
- Perly Pay can't be used by or for anyone on a sanctions list, or in comprehensively sanctioned places: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Belarus, Syria, and the occupied Ukrainian regions of Crimea and Sevastopol.
- Every payment's sender is screened against OFAC's list and others. A payment from a sanctioned or issuer-frozen address grants nothing; what to do with the money is the business's to handle lawfully (Terms).
- From these places, sign-up, the dashboard and our checkout pages are refused by the country of the connection. How that and the screening work: Sanctions and risk.
If something breaks this policy
We may pause checkout for your account and ask you to explain. Money already paid stays in your wallet — we can't take it, and won't try.
