Too little, too late, or out of time

Topping up at the same address, "Already paid?" with the transaction id, and what happens after the timer.

I sent too little

Usually an exchange took its fee out of the amount. The page says Send … more: send exactly that to the same address, on the same network. You can top up for a week after the invoice opened.

A tiny shortfall — up to $1, less on small prices — already counts as paid. Still short when the week ends, the seller decides.

I sent too much

The payment counts, and the page says the seller can refund the difference. Ask them — see refunds.

The timer ran out

The price is held for 30 minutes. If nothing was sent, press Refresh price (or Start again on an expired invoice) and pay the new amount.

Already sent? Don't start again — that makes a new invoice with a new address. Money that reaches the old address within a week still pays the old invoice.

Dollars count at face value whenever they arrive. Bitcoin that arrives after the timer is valued at the price when it arrives, so it may come up short — then top up as above.

The page doesn't see my payment

Press Already paid? under the address and paste the transaction id (TxID or hash) from the exchange's withdrawal history or your wallet. We look for it right away; it still has to arrive and confirm like any payment. The page updates by itself.

An invoice that already says Expired still watches its address for a week and notices a payment within an hour of it arriving. Reload the page later. Still nothing? Write to the seller with the transaction id.
