Refunds

The seller sends a refund from their own wallet to an address you give through a secure link.

Perly Pay never holds the money, so only the seller can refund it. Their terms — how many days, who pays the network fee — were shown before you paid. Ask the seller for a refund.

  1. 1

    The seller starts it

You get a secure link by email — Give an address — or from the seller directly if they don't have your email. It works until the date it names; a reminder follows. Expired? Ask the seller for a new one.

  2. 2

    You give an address

In the same coin, on the same network you paid with. From a wallet you own — not the address you paid from: exchanges send from shared wallets, and a refund there is lost.

  3. 3

    We check it

The address is checked against sanctions lists, as every payment is.

  4. 4

    The seller sends it

From their own wallet. When the network confirms it, you get a refund receipt.

How much arrives

The refund is in the coin you paid, not in dollars: 0.0005 BTC paid comes back as up to 0.0005 BTC, whatever the price did since.

Sending costs a network fee. Unless the seller pays it, it comes out of the refund. The link shows the refund, the fee and what you receive before you confirm. A fee larger than the refund can't be sent — write to the seller.

Giving an exchange's deposit address? Make sure that exchange takes this coin on this network. Some exchanges also ask who sent money that comes in.
